Exhibitor Information

The NZ Forest Industries Expo is designed as a forestry and timber sector showcase and includes a Symposium, static and working demonstrations of forest and timber industry products and services. The Expo is staged over 4 days every four years since 1990.

Sites available:
Indoor sites in the Energy Events Centre are 3 x 3m
Open Air sites in the Energy Events Centre Car Park are 15 x 15m or
10 x 10m
Demonstration area sites are 12 x 24m

Indoor sites:

All indoor sites are 3 x 3 meters. For those booking sites 07 to 149 inclusive (these sites are in the Unison Arena which has a wooden sports floor) please note the following:

• Maximum point load is 500kg
• Definition of a point load - a load on a 100mm x 100mm square
• Maximum total load on a 1.0m x 1.0m square is 2000kg (2 Tonne)
• A single layer of plywood is to be laid under any stationary load on the floor (plywood supplied by EEC)
• Any heavy equipment must have two layers of ply laid in the Arena, prior to placing in the allocated space
• Those booking sites 150 to 193 do not have a weight limit as the floor is concrete.

Indoor Site Fees: NZD2250 +GST

Included in the site fee: 1 x 2.3kW power point, grey Velcro-compatible wall panels to a height of 2.3m and background lighting.

Outdoor sites:

Outdoor sites are Standard (10m x 10 m) and large (15m x 15m).

These sites are on the Carpark area of the Rotorua Energy Events Centre which has a sealed surface. Marquees need to be weighted not pegged. Repairs to any damage caused by an Exhibitor will be charged to the Exhibitor.

Power is provided to these sites.

Standard Sites: NZD4750 +GST
Large Sites: NZD7200 +GST

Note: The Rotorua District Council has a bylaw regarding building permits for marquees. The information I have from RDC is: A marquee less than 50m sq requires no permit. A marquee above 54m sq, requires a permit. We can obtain 1 permit for all the marquees on the carpark area so long as we have the details before June 30, 2011. After this time the individual Exhibitor will need to apply for their building permit.
